      8 Air of sharpness cuts my throat,  
      9 As I look out from the boat,  
     10 At the life I left behind,  
     11 If I only were more kind,  
     12 To the voice that did not stop,  
     13 Talking "Land's close just hop, just hop"  
     14 But that's not what I did, could not,  
     15 Crush souls so full of love,  
     16 Burn bridges on my stove,  
     17 I squashed the voice inside,  
     18 And found a place to hide,  
     19 My dreams of cheery smile,  
     20 Without wanting to die
